Description:
Adelaide Oval is often described as the most picturesque test cricket ground in the world. Used for a variety of sports over the years and until 1974 was the venue for the local football league grand final. Home of test cricket in Adelaide as well as SANFL finals (but not the grand final). Was home to the Australian Super League's Adelaide Rams in 1997-98. Current home of the Southern Redbacks in Australia's domestic cricket competition, the Pura Cup.
