Jan Breydel Stadium has undergone renovation and expansion in recent years by increasing its capacityy from 18,000 to 30,000 in an effort to cope with increased demand for the Euro 2000 championships. The stadium was originally called Olympiastadion but was renamed to the name one of Flanders’ medieval rebel leaders. Jan Breydel Stadium is home to rival taems and Club Brugge KV and Cercle Brugge KSV Stadium from the Air
