The Manor Ground was home to Oxford United from 1925 until 2001 when they moved to the Kassam Stadium. The stadium was sold for £12m to make way for the Kassam Stadium which was built on the site of Oxford City's stadium and land purchassed for £6m. The record attendance at the 'Manor Ground was 22,730 during the FA Cup 6th round tie on Feburary 29th 1964 against Preston North End.
