Croke Park is the jewel in the crown of irish sports stadia. It is owned by the Gaelic Athlethics Association (gaa) and is the biggest amteur sports stadium in the world. Only Gaelic Games are allowed to play there due to GAA rules. (Ireland international football and rugby matches to be played here while Lansdowne Road is redeveloped)
The original Hill 16 was constructed using the rubble from the 1916 Easter Rising and as such had a strong place in the hearts of all irish people.

No segregation of fans for GAA matches although Dublin fans usually occupy Hill 16 when the Dubs are playing, this is one of the great sights in GAA.
wide range of refreshments to suit everybody

Takes up a good bit of the Dublin skyline, just look up, or if you've got a strained neck follow the rabble of culchies heading to croker.
