Description:
The Yokohama International Stadium is a sports venue in Yokohama, Japan. It was inaugurated in 1997. It is the home stadium of the Yokohama F. Masrinos of the J. League. It hosted 3 first round matches during the 2002 FIFA World Cup and was even the venue in the Final. It hosted some matches of the 2005 FIFA Club World Championship, including the final.
On March 1, 2005, its name changed to Nissan Stadium to reflect the sponsorship of the Nissan Motor Company.
