Sapporo Dome is a domed stadium in Sapporo, Japan. It is primarily used for soccer and baseball. It is the home field of the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters in the Pacific League and the Consadole Sapporo in the J-League. It also hosted some games in the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Its most unusual feature is that it has 2 entirely different playing surfaces. Baseball games are played on an artificial turf field while soccer games are held on a natural grass pitch that slides into and out of the stadium as needed.
