Springfield Stadium is Jersey's National football stadium. It holds a total of 5,000 spectators. It is also the home of the Jersey Football Association offices. The grandstand has 900 seats and the remainder of the ground is uncovered standing. It was built for the Island Games of 1997. At the same time the whole area was updated and the pitch rotated. Previously there was an old smaller stand where the car park is now and a small shed behind the then town end goal. The area is a public park so you can walk through it when matches are not being played.
