AMI Stadium, formerly Jade Stadium and Lancaster Park, is a sports stadium situated in Christchurch, Canterbury. It has hosted various sports, including rugby union, rugby league, cricket, soccer, athletics, trotting (until in 1899 this club moved to Addington Racecourse), and non-sporting events such as concerts by U2 in 1989 and Billy Joel in 1987.
It is, however, primarily a rugby and cricket ground. Its current capacity is 36,500 and is the home of the Canterbury Crusaders rugby team who compete in the Super 14, and the Canterbury premier rugby team who compete in the Air New Zealand Cup.
In 1998 Jade Stadium became the new name of Lancaster Park after naming rights were sold to Jade Software Corporation Limited. In 2007 AMI Stadium became the new name after naming rights were sold to AMI Insurance.

As venue is in an industrial area, there are no decent watering holes nearby. However, a range of brews is available at the stadium itself.
As is the norm in New Zealand, there is no segregation between home and away fans, although sometimes tickets are sold depending on ones support.
Typical stadium food such as hot dogs, hamburgers, hot chips, soft drinks, and beer, is available throughout the venue.
Varies from game to game. Air New Zealand Cup and Super 14 programmes are ususally $5 or less.
Also varies from game to game and section to section. A typical Air New Zealand Cup match will carry a ticket price of $20-$30, with international rugby and cricket games carrying much higher prices.
Bus: Routes 31 and 32 pass near to the stadium. There are also taxi ranks outside.
