Central Stadium is home to Russian football team FC Metallurg Krasnoyarsk who are based in the city of Krasnoyarsk, the largest city in the Siberian Federal District. The stadium holds around 27,000 spectators and used to have an athletics track around its perimiter although the quality of the track has deteriorated.
