Wanderers Stadium is a crcket stadium and is located in the city of Johannesburg.Construction of the stadium commenced in 1955.The first 1st-class match played here was on 16, 17 and 19 November 1956, between Transvaal and Natal.During the 1990's the stadium had a complete overhaul with the Unity Pavillion, Centenary Pavillion and the Western Pavillion all being refurbished.In 2003 the Wanderers Stadium was privileged to stage the Cricket World Cup Final.
