El Madrigal is home to Villareal CF, the stadium has a capacity of 23,000 and was originally built in 1923. Since then there have been a number of renovations to the ground. The stadium is now all-seater. The average attendance at the ground is usually approximately 14,500. Villarreal play around 30 miles from Valencia close to the town of Castellon de la Plana.
