The Beausejour stadium is located in Gros Islet, close to the lively tourist resort of Rodney Bay on the north east coast.The 13000 capacity stadium was inaugurated on June 9, 2002, and has been lablled as the benchmark for future construction of international cricket grounds in the West Indies.Set in 22 acres beneath the hills, the stadium is highlighted by it's modern infrastructure, including four standswith bucket type seating and a fashionable pavilion.There are plans to increase the capacity to 20,000 in time for the 2007 cricket World Cup.
